Dave was recomended to me by another company. I'm glad we met. He has provided me with a wealth of knowledge. From the begining he gave me advice on the marketing part of owning a company. Dave's communication is excelent.

ON ALAN ZUCKERMAN
I am President of CHICAGO DREAM GRASS, and I have personally thanked Alan Zuckerman for all of his efforts, help, ideas, and free advice in helping guide our company's successful marketing campaign. Much more than just any Yellow Book sales rep. will ever be, Alan has grown to become our very own Marketing Consultant!

I've also seen Alan use his experience to eagerly help his clients and his colleagues with his knowledge. He recently helped us, free of charge (see below), and during one of our meetings, he politely excused himself once to ask if he could help one of his colleagues via email. Alan quickly helped one of his less-experienced colleagues and returned to consulting with me.

Recently, Alan Zuckerman dedicated his very own time (3 hours) to help setup our company with so-called "review" sites and "social media" sites to help bolster our company reputation and customer acquisition and retention efforts. Now with these resources setup, we have increased "marketing depth" that we could never have realized in the past. Thanks again Alan!

I've come to appreciate Alan's increased marketing knowledge and we at CHICAGO DREAM GRASS cannot thank Alan enough for going way 'above and beyond' in helping us market our company in many ways -- even beyond basic search. We look forward to see what more Alan can do to help our company grow in the coming years.

ON REACH LOCAL
Since October 2008, we at CHICAGO DREAM GRASS have been using ReachLocal to do our advertising for us. We say "for us" because, after our initial setup, we do very little to make our adverting successful. ReachLocal does it all "for us." It's like having our very own marketing department for our small business.

ReachLocal delivers! With ReachLocal, customers now come to us. In fact, we recently had to cut back our advertising budget by 33% because we could not handle the large number of leads that were coming in. As a result of the flood of leads, our customer service began to suffer. So, we scaled back our budget by 33% to where we could handle the amount of leads that ReachLocal was delivering and not compromise customer care.

Cons:
We had initial stumbling as we felt pressured to increase our advertising budget beyond our capacity to handle the lead load.

If you get pressured to drive more leads than you can handle, don't fall for it. Ask to work with a different, more experienced rep.

Pros:
They had a convincing sales pitch.

Cons:
Poor customer service. Once we signed up and gave them our precious marketing dollars, they were hard to "reach". I noticed that their account managers didn't stay with company very long. I would describe this company as a "take the money and run" kind of business.

Pros:
I would like to thank Reach Local for sending us a gentleman named Dave Tesser. My name is Sal Manzo, President of Sal Manzo Plumbing and Heating in Wantagh. This past summer I was thinking about online advertising to create more service calls. We were using a company called Yodle. Yodle did not take the time to explain the products and services they provide. They actually did everything over the phone which I didn’t appreciate. After tracking the calls from Yodle we had found that it only generated .38 cents per day for a 4month period of time. It was time for improving online advertising.



Dave Tesser had called my office and made an appointment to personally meet with me in my office. Dave Tesser had showed up at my office on time. He proceeded to explain the products and services that he can provide to us to make the phone ring. Dave Tesser took the time to make sure I understood everything he was showing me with his products. In the past I have been in contact with various people in my office trying to sell various products and services. They didn’t take the time to make sure that I understood 100% about their company and or their products. When Dave Tesser was complete with explaining your products and services to me it didn’t end there. He had called me on the phone after that to see if I had any questions. He made another appointment to see me because he had another idea that would help us out in making the phone ring. Again, he showed up on time and explained his ideas to me. Dave Tesser has come across to me as being professional and personable to my needs in running a Plumbing Company.



I am looking forward to having a prosperous future with Dave Tesser and Reach Local.

Pros:
Reachlocal has been great. Our rep, Alan Zuckerman pursued us for over a year and was very patient as we wasted time and money with a small firm that couldn't get the job done. Its been three weeks with Alan and we have literally had at least one solid lead every day. Our business is related to retail construction and so especially in this economic time lead generation is huge. Our Reachlocal PPC campaign has generated more leads in three weeks than most new salesmen will generate in the first 6 months. I would recommend their service to anyone who is looking to improve their presence on the web.

Cons:
Don't get to see the entire key word list they are using; the prior company we used had better summary pages for their analytics but their results don't come close to Reachlocal...I'd rather have the solid results!

Pros:
This last year we took a long look at our online advertizing. Where we use to have many different methods of online ads and placement, we decided to put everything into ReachLocal. It was one of the best decisions we did in marketing. ReachLocal was able to not only get our ads out to the people in the best way, but the tracking and remarketing of information is something that we never had the ability to do before.
I 110% stand behind using ReachLocal as I will be this next year!

Pros:
This has been a very positive experience for us. Through this company we have been able to grow our business to what it is today. Everyday we are receiving more impressions and phone calls through ReachLocal. I feel as though our website would not be receiving as much traffic as it does if it weren't for the help of ReachLocal.

Cons:
We have nothing to complain about, we are very happy with the service that we receive with ReachLocal.

Pros:
As the Director of Marketing for a national company, rolling out new services can be a pain. A pain to setup, a pain to monitor, and a pain to make adjustments. ReachLocal has not been a pain. Our rep - Allan Tereshko evaluates each new site, makes recommendations, and then works with our Business Unit Managers to help ensure its success.

ReachLocal has helped draw leads and has been a tremendous help with training our front line staff to manage these leads. With their pay for performance model it is a very good deal in these trying economic times. ReachLocal is highly recommended.

Pros:
We are one of the largest chimney sweep companies in MA and RI. We have only been using ReachLocal for 6 weeks, but already they are performing better than any other pay per click campaign we have run. Our problem in the past has been lot of clicks and few calls. With ReachLocal, we are surprised at the number of calls we are getting. We are planning to increase our budget to grow our business even more.

Pros:
ReachLocal was very helpful in bringing my business online. My salesperson helped me to setup a website and advertising on Google and other sites. After 2 years with ReachLocal we have moved a majority of our advertising budgets from print publications to online advertising with great results.


Cons:
We would like to get more leads from our online program. We tried to increase our budget with them but they were unable to spend it in a month. According to Reach Local there is not enough searches being done in my market to spend th entire budget on time.
